  • Tracey Gold/Carnie Wilson
Best known for her role as Carol Seaver in the legendary comedy series "Growing Pains," Tracey Gold runs a tight ship in her home. She and her husband, Roby Marshall, are inseparable and keep strict daily schedules for their four boys -- Sage (14), Bailey (12), Aiden (7) and Dylan (3). Each day, Gold makes sure the family eats their meals together, and from sunrise to sunset she and Roby are diligently managing their household by cooking, cleaning, doing laundry and running errands. Gold swaps lives with Carnie Wilson, a member of the successful music group Wilson Phillips and daughter of the Beach Boys' Brian Wilson. Carnie is often out on the road working and performing, and refers to her relationship with record producer husband Rob as being like "two ships passing in the night." The couple has two daughters, Lola (6) and Luci (2). Upon entering the Wilson house, Gold is overwhelmed by the clutter and can't believe the house looks this way in spite of two housekeepers and an aunt who helps with the girls. Wilson, on the other hand, is shocked that Gold still picks out her kids' clothes and leaves hardly any time for them to relax and have fun. At the end of the week, the two couples will meet for the first time. In a deeply honest and highly-charged exchange of views, both couples will make a frank assessment of each other and talk about what they've learned from the experience. In the process, all will discover what it would be like to live a life radically different from their own.

  • Gary Busey/Ted Haggard
Steffanie Sampson, fiancee of Academy Award-nominated actor Gary Busey, swaps lives with Gayle Haggard, wife of former evangelical icon Ted Haggard. Gary, Steffanie and their 19-month old son, Luke, live in their Hollywood Hills home. Gary, born into Christianity and Steffanie, born into Judaism, have chosen to live spiritually and believe in reincarnation. They claim to be soul mates, married in spirit, and believe they are currently spending their 32nd lifetime together. When Gary is not working, he spends his time transcribing his visions from his experiences and his life now. Steffanie is a hands-on mother who has recently returned to her career as a hypnotherapist and healer. Steffanie travels to the Haggard home in Colorado to spend a week with Ted Haggard and his four adult children, Christy, Jonathan, Alex and Eliott. The Haggard family have struggled to overcome the humiliation that followed Ted's highly publicized encounter in 2006 with a gay masseur and accusations of drug use. The scandal forced him to resign as senior pastor of the mega-church he and Gayle had founded 22 years earlier. He was also forced to resign as head of the powerful National Association of Evangelicals and move his family from their home in Colorado Springs to Phoenix. Four years ago they were given permission by leaders of the church to return to Colorado Springs, where Haggard is currently leading a new congregation in a local middle school. Gayle wrote the book, Why I Stayed: The Choices I Made in My Darkest Hour, describing in candid detail the bumpy road she walked alongside her husband following the scandal. Gayle and Steffanie must move into the other's homes and adopt their new celebrity family's lifestyle, no matter how different. When they arrive, they find a manual written by the departing mother, setting out the rules of the new household - how to parent, manage their social life, do house work, unwind and more. In the first part of the swap, they must abide by the resident family's set of rules. But in the second half of the week, everything changes when the new moms take charge. They introduce their own set of rules and get to run the new household their way. It's a radical shock to both celebrity families, with results that are explosive, enlightening, emotional and often very funny.

  • Flavor Flav/Dee Snider
Legendary hype man Flavor Flav, his fiancee of nine years, Liz, and sons Gibran (15) and Karma (4), live in a gated community in Las Vegas, but that's where the "normal" part of their lives ends. When he's not touring with Public Enemy, Flav regularly spends his time with his friends at the bowling alley. The easygoing Liz usually sits at home alone, tranquilly crocheting and reading self-help books while her mother looks after the baby -- or she goes out gambling, her favorite pastime. Dee, who is perhaps best known as the lead singer of e80s sensation Twisted Sister, and his wife of 22 years, Suzette, met in high school. They are very much the hands-on parents to Jess (29), Shane (22), Cody (21) and Cheyenne (14). When the quiet-loving Liz travels to Long Island to swap lives with Suzette, she almost loses her mind when Cheyenne's post-hardcore band rehearses in the house. She is also taken aback when she realizes how little Dee and the kids help with the household in comparison with Suzette's daily routine, which includes all of the cooking, cleaning and even styling her sons' Mohawks every day. But that's little to compare with the gravity defying and nerve-wracking experience Suzette is having with Flav back in Vegas. Suzette, who calls raising her children her "career," becomes irritated when she sees Flav constantly on the phone and hanging out at the bowling alley with his friends. Flav keeps leaving Suzette with the kids alone or calling his sister-in-law to care for the baby. He often goes out for extended periods of time without informing Suzette of his whereabouts. As a result, he misses the scheduled plans she's made for him and the family. When it comes time for Suzette to institute her own set of house rules, she discovers that Flav is not one to easily bide by someone else's rules.

  • Niecy Nash/Tina Yothers
Country gal and outdoors enthusiast Tina Yothers swaps with Niecy Nash, who lives a fast-paced, Hollywood lifestyle.

  • Mick "Mankind" Foley/Antonio Sabato Jr.
Superstar pro-wrestler and author Mick Foley and his wife, former model Colette, have been married for 21 years. They share a luxury condo in Florida with their wrestle-maniac children -- Dewey (19), Noelle (17) Mickey (10) and Hughie (8). The family also consists of Randall, a yet-to-be-house-trained puppy. Colette feels loved but unsupported and underappreciated since she's the one who picks up all of the toys, makes the beds and even cooks a different meal for each family member every day. While Mick is on the road and immersed in different projects and the kids are playing, Colette just doesn't have time to keep a tidy house. Mick and Colette admit their family lifestyle lacks structure; however they make up for it with love. Colette leaves balmy Florida for arid Los Angeles to swap lives with heartthrob actor/model Antonio Sabato, Jr. Antonio and his conservative Christian fiancee, Cheryl, two self-admitted clean freaks. They keep a spotless home, the cars are kept clean and shiny, and neither one will be able to sleep at night if the tea kettle is on the wrong burner. Cheryl keeps a six-page, 65-item checklist of daily duties that must be done to ensure the household is properly maintained. Colette quickly realizes the Sabatos drive their daughter, Mina (9), in a pursuit of perfection with gymnastics classes she must attend several times a week, as well as daily piano practice. While changing diapers and feeding the Sabatos' 3-month-old son, baby Antonio, Colette is brought back to her long-gone days (and nights) of caring for a newborn. Colette is impressed with Antonio and Cheryl's home, but shocked to see how overworked the whole family is. Back at the Foley house, a post-partum Cheryl is brought to tears when she realizes all that Colette does for her family. As she tries to live by Colette's rules the first part of the week, she becomes a nervous wreck cleaning up after the puppy, cooking six individualized meals a night, breaking up the boys' wrestling matches and contending with Mick's laissez-faire parenting style. At the end of the week, the two couples will meet for the first time in a deeply honest and highly-charged exchange of views. Both couples will make a frank assessment of each other and talk about what they've learned from the experience.
