Maddy and her parents are the only wolfbloods in their area. Until one day, a new boy starts at Maddy's school. Mysterious Developments Maddy's mom tries to teach Rhydian how to blend into society more but he feels her family's ways are too restrictive and unnatural. Meanwhile, Maddy discovers there are wolfbloods living in the wild who are dangerous and despise both humans and tamed wolfbloods. Family Ties When the school art exhibition is trashed overnight, Jimi spreads rumours that it was Rhydian, so Maddy, Shannon and Tom go on the hunt for the real vandal to find out who has a grudge against Rhydian. Cry Wolf Maddy's first transformation is rapidly approaching, as are her exams, which isn't a great combination. Keeping her secret is becoming more and more difficult, especially when it causes her to break promises to her friends. Occam's Razor It's the full moon and Maddy is anxious about her first transformation. To complicate matters, her entire class is on a field trip on the historic isle of Lindesfarne. Now, Maddy and Rhydian must find a way to break free from their class before they transform. Maddy Cool! Following her transformation, the wolf energy is still strong in Maddy's blood. While at a school assembly she gets carried away watching the street dance club and joins in their routine. She is fantastic, and now everyone thinks Maddy is cool, especially Dean Samuels, the cutest boy in school! Rhydian tries to warn her that after the first transformation things can get a little crazy, but Maddy continues to enjoy her new popularity and ignores his warnings. Dark Moon It's the day of the dark moon and Maddy and Rhydian have lost all of their wolfblood powers, which doesn't bode well for Shannon when she tries to prove Maddy is the beast. Wolfsbane Shannon tricks her friends into helping her hunt for the beast. Meanwhile, Maddy has mistakenly taken something with wolfbane and is in danger of transforming. A Quiet Night In When Rhydian gets in trouble and lands himself in jail for the night, it's up to Maddy and her family to get him out before he transforms. The Call Of The Wild While hanging out in the woods Maddy, Rhydian, Tom and Shannon notice that someone is spying on them. Maddy and Rhydian catch the scent - one of the wild wolfbloods is back! Meanwhile, on the way home a homeless woman stops Rhydian in the street and tells him she is his mother and asks him to come and live with her in the wild, like a true wolfblood. Eolas Rhydian starts dabbling with his Eolas powers in school and showing off to his friends. When he shares the secret with Maddy, she runs off joyously using her new skills without hearing the side effects he shouts after her. Caged When Maddy and Rhydian transform in the woods, they are captured by self-proclaimed "beast-hunter" Kyle Weathers. Irresistible Shannon is determined to get proof that the wolves exist and she knows how to get it - Kyle's wolfbait! Meanwhile, Rhydian is being tracked in the woods by someone very close to him.
