Buzzin' EpisodesSeason 1

Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's Buzzin' Page

  • Super Monday
In Malibu, Calif., Shwayze visits the trailer park where he grew up. OK, so it's a step up from living on Detroit's hard-knock 8 Mile Road, but it's a trailer park nonetheless. He reminisces about befriending seasoned musician and regular tabloid fixture Cisco Adler, signing with Suretone Records and seeing his first single, "Buzzin'," take off. Ever since he left the trailer park, Shwayze's been on the fast track to fame - and he's loving every minute of it! At the "Buzzin'" video shoot, Shwayze and Cisco's tour manager, Warren, tells them they've got a big Super Bowl weekend coming up. They're playing seven shows in three days! But Shwayze reveals he must be back Sunday night because he has a court date the next day at 8 a.m. Apparently, he was arrested for allegedly selling fake IDs.

  • Das Booted
It's a lazy day at Buzzin' HQ when Shwayze gets a phone call from an exasperated Warren. Apparently, Warren got Shwayze's car booted by parking it in front of a hydrant - but he was only running in for a second! When Cisco Adler and Shwayze arrive to survey the scene, they realize that Shway must have had some serious outstanding tickets to warrant a booting. With his cash flow still at a trickle, Shwayze can only hope that his upcoming commercial shoot with Pontiac will earn him enough green to release his ride. The shoot is a success, but when Shwayze learns that he owes over $500 to the DMV and that he won't see any money from the commercial for a few weeks, he decides to ask Suretone Records head honcho, Jordan Schur, for a little advance. Always the shrewd businessman, Jordan offers him a deal: finish your record, and you get some cash.

  • Losing It In San Diego
Shwayze's outside playing basketball while Cisco Adler's in the studio when Shwayze gets a call from Warren. Apparently, Warren got Shwayze's car booted by parking it in front of a hydrant. Hey, he was only running in for a taco! When Cisco and Shwayze arrive at the scene, they realize that Shwayze must have a lot of outstanding tickets to warrant a boot. With his cash flow still low, Shwayze can only hope that his upcoming commercial with Pontiac will earn him enough green to release his ride. After shooting the commercial, Shwayze learns that he owes more than $500 to the DMV but he won't be seeing any money from Pontiac for a few weeks. He decides to ask Suretone Records head honcho Jordan Schur for a little advance. Always the shrewd businessman, Jordan offers him a deal: finish the album and then get paid.

  • Sticker Shock
Shwayze and Cisco Adler head to KIIS-FM in Los Angeles to be interviewed by Ryan Seacrest, who plays "Buzzin'" for his 2 million listeners. It's the launching point for the guys' upcoming radio promo tour. Though Suretone Records head honcho Jordan Schur won't be joining them for a few days, he's sure they can stay out of trouble till then. Just before the Buzzin' crew heads to the East Coast, Jordan's assistant, David Patton, drops off boxes of CD samplers for them to bring on the road. But Shwayze's initial excitement turns to dismay when he discovers that there's no mention of Cisco anywhere on the CDs. Afraid the oversight will ruin the whole trip, Shwayze and his tour manager, Warren, devise a plan. They'll print out stickers that say "Featuring Cisco Adler" and affix them to all 40,000 samplers. Seems simple enough...

  • Working On Wango
After Shwayze and Cisco Adler learn they'll be performing at the Wango Tango festival in L.A., they are sent on a whirlwind tour of the country to drum up publicity. Their brutal schedule takes them to a different city every day, and it starts to take its toll on them. Hopping from planes, trains and automobiles to interviews, live shows and TRL leaves them totally tired. After a radio interview in Portland, Ore., Shwayze accidentally drives a rented Jeep over a ledge while pulling into a gas station to get coffee. The ledge is high enough off the ground that the car gets stuck, leaving the car teetering because the tires aren't hitting pavement. After taking a few pictures, the girl magnets are in luck when some bikini-clad babes drive up and help them pass the time until the tow truck arrives.

  • Unhappy Birthday
Shwayze and Cisco Adler are invited to perform at NARM, a big music industry event in San Francisco. When they discover that all the other bands have much bigger stage productions, the guys complain to Suretone Records exec Jordan that they need something to rev up their act - like a live band. Meanwhile, Warren runs into a financial crisis with his clothing line, One Love Eleven. He needs some fast cash in order to get a big shipment out on time. If he doesn't deliver, he may be forced to desert the Buzzin' gang, leaving them without a tour manager during the Warped Tour. While in San Francisco with the guys, Warren has a meeting with an investor who offers to put up half of the money he needs. Better than nothing!

  • No Hats On The Bed
While Warren shows off his new line of clothes, Shwayze and Cisco Adler spot a giant rat running across their deck. Thoroughly freaked out, they tell Warren to handle the situation while they go shoot the video for "Corona and Lime." Left behind while the Buzzin' boys go have fun, Warren calls some exterminators to look into the rat sighting. When Shwayze and Cisco get home, the exterminators have caught one huge rat - and there's apparently plenty more where it came from. Thankfully, they're heading out of town for a couple gigs while the situation is taken care of. While packing for their trip, Shwayze mindlessly throws one of Cisco's hats on the bed, causing Cisco to freak out because he thinks it's bad luck. But that's just an old wives' tale, right?

  • Where's Warren
On the eve of the Warped Tour, Cisco and Shwayze are forced to bid farewell to best pal and tour manager Warren, who is headed back east to tend to his clothing line. But before he leaves, he has an awkward meeting with his replacement - an experienced tour manager named Bree. Bree comes along on the guys' Malibu send-off to Warren - which ends with them all jumping into the Pacific fully-clothed and leaves Bree shaking her head over the crew she's going to be managing. Cisco and Shwayze meet with a director/producer over a movie script they want to make. They make plans to shoot some excerpts for a presentation reel while they're on the road for Warped. This doesn't sit well with Jordan, who tells them they should be focused on the music alone on this important tour.
