Musical Chairs Cathy tries dabbling in the supernatural after she's unsuccessful at scoring a spot in a clinical trial for a new cancer treatment overseen by a renowned oncologist. Meanwhile, Sean takes on a take-charge attitude around the house, and Adam uses his mother's medical situation to his advantage at school. Sexual Healing Problems in the bedroom plague Cathy and Paul, but some insight from their new housemate, Andrea, goes a long way in getting things situated. Meanwhile, newly medicated Sean ruffles Rebecca's feathers; and Adam isn't getting what he wants from his relationship with Mia, so he hooks up with another girl. Boo! Goldilocks And The Bears Lee takes Cathy to a Tibetan doctor to help lower her blood pressure for the clinical trial; a jealous Paul goes to a bar with Lee and Cathy; a grounded and bored Adam interferes with Andrea's date with Myk. The Last Thanksgiving Thanksgiving dinner at Cathy's house is thrown into turmoil after she reveals a long-hidden secret. Meanwhile, Paul contemplates an alternative source of income when faced with increasing insurance costs. A Little Death Rebecca has an unusual way of dealing with her miscarriage and the result leaves Cathy reconnecting with friends from the past. Elsewhere, Andrea and Myk's relationship goes to a new level; Adam gets a surprise when he meets a girl he's been chatting up on an online cancer group. How Do You Feel? Elsewhere, Adam searches for his AWOL uncle and an impulsive Andrea makes a decision about Myk. The Darkest Day As Cathy prepares for her trip to Italy, she receives an amicable call from Lee. Elsewhere, Paul uncovers a secret about Myk while Adam discovers one about Poppy. Crossing The Line Lee's passing has a profound effect on Cathy and she decides on a special way to ring in the New Year. Meanwhile, continued financial woes lead Paul to try a different tack with the insurance company; and Adam and Dr. Todd make a surprising connection.
