Back To Pazsaz Entertainment Network's The Big C Page Quality Of Life Adam is turning 16 and Cathy plans to throw him a party, despite his objections, while Paul gets help on his motivational-speaking campaign from a new assistant. Later, Andrea proves to be an uncomfortable fit with her new roommate at fashion school; and Cathy's surprising news from Dr. Sherman leads to an appointment with a therapist. You Can't Take It With You Cathy signs Paul up for a dating service, much to his dismay. Meanwhile, Andrea fails to impress Isaac Mizrahi, her design instructor; Sean makes a charitable donation; and Adam strikes a deal with his chemistry tutor in an effort to pass the class. Quality Of Death Cathy checks into a hospice and experiences problems with her roommate; Adam confronts Paul about his extreme lack of parental guidance; Cathy inadvertently inspires Andrea to get her sparkle back; and Dr. Sherman visits Cathy. The Finale Cathy gets a visit from her estranged father. Meanwhile, Sean develops mixed feelings about his impending kidney surgery after he meets the recipient of his goodwill; and Andrea receives an opportunity of a lifetime from Isaac Mizrahi. Later, Adam surprises everyone by fulfilling one of Cathy's wishes.
