HGTV Showdown  premiered on HGTV on August 3, 2008. This series will give viewers a front row seat as HGTV's elite designers and carpenters race against the clock in head-to-head design competitions. In the second season, HGTV's fiercest designers and builders team up to devise and execute a winning design plan for a lucky homeowner. The participating homeowner will receive $10,000 to recreate the design at home.
